All Time Favorite Beauty Products!

One of the most frequently asked questions I get is what kind of makeup I use. Literally almost every week someone asks me and they're surprised to find out I use a lot of drugstore products. So, I decided to share my favorite/most used products and some products I've been loving the past month or so. I'll try my best to explain each product short & sweet :)

Bronzers & Blushes (Right to Left)
1. Physicians Formula:Multi Colored Healthy Glow Bronzer - My Holy Grail of bronzers! I use this almost everyday. By far has been one of my favorite bronzers of all time!  (Mostly Matte)

2. Khroma Beauty: Endless Summer Bronzer- Has a little bit of a shimmer to it, but not a lot at all. I've been using this mostly on my cheeks or as a contour.

3. NYX Blush: Mocha- Subtle, but gives a nice, natural color to your cheeks. Great for summer.

4. MAC: Desert Rose Blush- LOVE THIS. My go to blush.. I use it on almost every one of my brides. I haven't found a person this looks bad on. Definitely worth the money.

MAC Prep & Prime Highlighter: Radiant Rose- Favorite Highlight of all time.  I put this where natural sunlight hits.. under my eye in a triangle, from the bottom corner of my nose, up to the outer bottom corner of my eye, and in to bottom inner corner. Also along the bridge of my nose. Really brightens up your face!
Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer: Ivory or  Radiant Eclatant- These are great!! The Radiant Eclatant is a dupe for the MAC Radiant Rose.. & so much cheaper! Both great colors and I do the same thing with these as I do the MAC.

Maybelline Eyestudio Gel liner: Blackest Black- BEST gel liner I have ever used. Stays on all day, has amazing pigment, and is easy to use! I always set this gel liner with a matte black eye shadow (makes it last ever longer!!)

Loreal Double Extend: Black- I really only use the white end before I use any mascara. I'm not one for waterproof mascaras,  unless I know prior to starting my day I'm going to cry lol. Usually never wear waterproof.. I just feel like it's too harsh to wear everyday and is a pain to get off, but this is good!

Maybelline Mega Plush Volume Express: Blackest Black- I usually use this and the white end of double extend (before).  Only downside is that the wand is made to be flexible and I just don't really like it. Too flimsy.. But it's a great mascara!

Maybelline the Rocket: Blackest Black- Really separates lashes well! Usually never use this one by itself, but I know a lot of people rave about this mascara.  I like mascara to make my lashes more full, so if I use this I most likely will pair it with another mascara. But,  I always use this on my bottom lashes!
Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eye Liner Pencil: Jet Black- If I don't use gel liner, this is my go to. I NEVER wear eyeliner on my lower lash line..  it just doesn't work on me. I use this liner on my top lash line, and then smudge it with a brush and put some black eye shadow on top.  Not everyone looks right with bottom liner, I am one of those girls! I usually use eye shadow on my lower lash line instead, and I only go half way in, if that ( widens your eyes!).

Equate Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes- These are great! If I'm staying out I'll throw this in my purse/bag. My skin is super sensitive and these are amazing. They really make my face feel clean and refreshed. It even removes that awful waterproof mascara that makes me cringe so much! Also, these are exactly like the more expensive brands ( and I think they smell even better!)

Neutrogena Naturals Fresh Cleansing + Makeup Remover- I've used this for years & have yet to find a better cleanser, plus it removes makeup great, so it's like a two in one. Like I said before, I have super sensitive skin, so if you do, I definitely suggest you get this!!

CLEAR Scalp & Hair Therapy Shampoo & Conditioner- Used a lot of these.. all great.  This doesn't make my hair greasy at all and it smells absolutely amazing. I usually shampoo my hair, rinse (obviously), put the conditioner on, run my fingers through and leave it on while I wash my body/ shave my legs.

Other Products! (Right to Left)
1. Garnier Skin Renew Anti Dark Circle Roller- I have used this for a few years now. I mix this with highlighters/concealers  because it makes them creamier. I use this alone some days if I'm doing something simple.  Definitely does what it says. It's very light, but covers a good amount of those under-eye circles we (almost) all have and hate.

2. Revlon ColorStay Foundation (220 Natural Beige)  Yes, it's true. I use drugstore foundation. It's just a personal preference of mine. This is a dupe for Makeup Forever HD foundation.. and it's WAY cheaper. I've also used this for the past few years. I do however use MAC foundations for clients, but they are more full coverage and I personally don't need/want anything heavy for everyday.

3. Rimmel Fix & Perfect Primer 002- Favorite face primer of all time and is so unbelievably affordable it should be a sin. Goes on before applying foundation and is so smooth! Side note: you do NOT need to spend $20+ on face primers.. I guarantee you it isn't worth it.  This is great. Love it.

4. Garnier BB Cream: Light to Medium: Combination/Oily- I usually use this during the summer, or if I'm not doing a full face of makeup. It's just like a tinted moisturizer.. gives you just enough color instead of using foundation. Very light weight and has SPF in it. Perfect for that little touch for the beach!

5. Hard Candy Glow All The Way Body Luminizer- I actually mix this with whatever body lotion I want. You literally only need a pea size amount to mix with a quarter size of lotion. I use it mostly on my legs so it gives them a nice, summery glow. Do NOT use this on its own. Ever. It will make you look like you dipped your entire body in liquid gold. Not.. cute. Also, wash your hands after because it will make them super gold/shimmery.

6. Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray- Works great and I use this on my clients. It feels a little sticky and weird for the first 30 seconds, but it goes away. Really sets your makeup nicely and makes it last all day. I don't have to touch up my foundation at all during the day, unless it's crazy hot out, I'll just lightly  dab with a tissue once during the day. Granted it's about $30, but I've had mine since January and it's still more than half way full. Worth it!!

Hair Products (Right to Left)
People always ask me how I get my hair teased ( big, poofy, whatever you call it), so if you want to know how I do it, let me know!
1. TRESemme Hairspray 5- Very light hair spray. I only use this to tease sections of my hair.  I never use this alone or to set my style.

2. John Frieda Frizz-Ease Firm Hold Hairspray- This literally freezes your hair into how you want it to stay. I use this only at the end when I am completely done styling my hair. It's way too firm to comb out after, so be sure that's how you want your hair before you spray it with this! Works amazing. My hair hardly moves during the day when it's styled with this. I'm a hair spray fanatic. It's terrible, I know.

3. Dove Dry Shampoo- Love it and smells so darn good! I know a lot of dry shampoos leave your hair with almost a grey tint.. this doesn't at all. I know a few people who have dark hair and use this also. Once again, you do NOT need to spend a bunch of money on dry shampoos...

4. Chi Silk Infusion- Obsessed. I use this every time before I dry my hair. You only need a pea size.. rub your hands together and scrunch it into your hair. Makes your hair feel silky smooth!! Smells pretty good too!

Let me know if there's anything you want to know! Or if you have any requests on tutorials & such! :)
